I saw there is a project, Spring Social, being hosted at spring-social. Are there any docs for this anywhere or examples?

What is the status of the Spring Social project? I know that there is a talk to be given by Chris Wells at SpringOneG2X (which I am going to), but I am looking to start implementing some basic connectivity to Facebook on a project shortly. I am very much looking forward to being able to integrate this with Spring Security as well....
In the short term, I plan on just some code I found at 2010/0...ation-in-java/.
