STS isn't publishing to its own tc server on mac publishing, advantage, published

Hello good fellas!
After reading all the hype about the  tool suite i've decided to give it a try.I read it's based on the eclipse galileo 3.5.1 platform so for me it's a worth to be tested.so i was a bit disappointed that the simple web project i created cannot be published neither on my tomcat nor the tc server.I use netbeans a lot and for a webproject i'll like to take advantage on the eclipse wysiwyg and it seems not to be that case.Note that as far i can remember i used the eclipse galileo 3.5 sometime ago and it's was publishing fine on the tomcat server.Is anyone experiencing the same thing as i am? i think the best way to verify that is to have an eclipse  galileo on my mac and try it with.
