Spring 3.1M2 and conversation feature

Hi,

I am building a Spring-Hibernate-Wicket based application and want to use the conversation feature (browse/SPR-6416) if it is out soon.
I remember it was supposed to be a part of 3.1M1 release and now I see it is part of 3.1M2. Do you know what's the status of this issue?
