STS is Evil! successful, tonight, correct, outside, problem

I have been working on an i18n issue of my project for more than a month. After hours hours' work, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get the correct utf-8 encoding for a form data even though I followed related documentation and I had been successful dealing with this issue in the past with Spring 1.x and 2.x versions.

After banging my head to a wall for many days, I thought I should test this problem outside of the STS. I installed my app on a separated TC tonight and find the utf-8 encoding issue doesn't exist in TC without any code changes.

What STS can waste my time! And in this regard, STS is evil.

have you tried changing the encoding setting of your text files in Preferences -gt; General -gt; Workspace -gt; Text file encoding? Maybe this helps. Otherwise I would appreciate if you could provide more details about this issue so that we can get a chance to look into it.
