Why STS also keeps TC server.xml away from any customization? customize, original, element, special

I need to add one attribute on the lt;Connectorgt; element in server.xml file for i18n. After restart the server, the file is rewritten back to the original one. That mean I can't customize the TC configuration for my special need.

edits to the tc Server configuration should be done from within the Servers project of your STS workspace. That way you can prevent this kinds of overwrites.
